Woman And There Bodies
Woman and there bodies. Either you read this title and get excite (BFA especllay!) or you groan and say not again!
Yes its true we in our sociaty look at bodies and beauty like they are what is the meaning of all life. If we got toned muscle riped tummy, we complain about or lack there of,of breast. When we are round and shaply we wish we were thin. For some woman its there thighs others there arms and still others, there tummy(my weak spot!). But there is one thing that really seems to push the wrong buttons in our society . Fat.Plain and simple. I was watching the movie "Soritey Boys" and a few of the "popular girls " where commenting at a very unlikly time how wonderfully slim each other were.
I have gone thorough life being told that i hve such a pretty face....now if only i could lose weight!
What is it about weight that can control our lives so much?
I had to laugh, on the weekend i was over at a friends house. She has a little sister that is 10 and she loves to sit and lisen to us "grown ups " talk. So my friend and i were chating and weight came up. Now you must know my friend is a very beautiful, Arabian girl. She has big brown eyes, and curly long hair, how jelous am i?! Anyways, she said she was so fat she wanted to stop eating all foods with suger, i tried to explain to her how bad that was. She complid how she was going to ever lose weight. I said she look stunning (which she does) and so she said no i do and i said no i fat, and she said no i am. Well her little sister chimed in."Lets stop all this talk about weight. Your both beutiful, no matter what!" Well from the mouth of a babe, comes worlds of wisdom.
So far in my pursute to find a go between being to fat and being "just right " as if there is really such a thing" I have learn a few things, alone the way. When we focus so much on the things we dont like. The more we feel hopless. But the more we focus on things that make us happy the better we deal with the such a pretty face coments. I wish to talk more about this but for now goodnight!
